The Parrish House

Drove over an hour from Douglas Georgia to try this place. Called to see what was on the menu. Baked fish, fried fish, pork chops, fried chicken, rutabaga, squash, turnip greens, Mac& cheese, hush puppies, rolls, cornbread, baked chicken, rice, tomato gravy. As you can imagine I was quite hungry after hearing this. Arrived at 1pm, they close at 2. No fish,no pork chops, two hush puppies. Everything was cold. Two spoonfuls of speggeti. They did have chili which was not on the menu. Dessert was subpar. Then I got charged full price for the meal that was nothing to what I was told. Needless to say We Won't Be Back. All I can say is go early but don't expect a lot.

Relaxed casual atmosphere. Delicious country cooking. Fried chicken was perfect, baked chicken, meatloaf and several other meats. Mac 'n cheese, beans, rice, dressing, gravy and more! Desserts Today: bread pudding, peach cobbler, chocolate surprise and peanut butter cream cake

This is a buffet and had a very good variety and delicious vegetables. Waitress was very friendly and attentive.

My first time dining here with my husband. If you love southern home cooking this place is for you. Food was delicious! We will definitely be back again.

Great little local spot! Well worth the extra travel from the interstate. Good home style food, great service, great relaxed down home atmosphere. First time stopping but definitely not the last! Had pork chops, turkey and dressing, baked chicken, Mac n cheese, and vegetable sides

Wonderful older plantation style house with several period style seating rooms. Great hospitality and Oh yeah the Southern charm from the staff extends to the D-Lishes food! I love the variety of comfort foods they offer. They post the days meal menu on their facebook site. Come hungry and leave room for a nap under a live oak afterwards.

Excellent food Excellent staff well mannerd place today is 7/10/2025 we were here at about 1115am and they had lots of food out and more to come the buffet for lunch was only $16 a person we will definitely be comming back keep up the Excellent work

Good country-style food buffet for $14. Chicken baked n fried or made into a pie! With ALL the sides n fixens n desserts just like you would expect to find in South Georgia. Solid basic food, no frills simple layout in an old southern homestead with friendly staff. Located next to a cottonfield in the small country town of Adel. Does it get any more Georgia than this?
